Author Charlie Notthingham has been easily climbing to the top of my list of favorite authors in the last year. Personally, I believe you can’t go wrong with her books, she doesn’t disappoint.

Spades!!.. Was amazing. I was sucked right into the story from the beginning. Completely drawn in and couldn’t put it down until i was done. Let’s start with that all of the author’s books connect to one another. Spades could be read as a standalone or with the next books in its series or it could be crossed over with the Eluding Destiny, Arcane Gods, and so on.

Story follows Brooke, a hybrid (witch & guardian) , goes into a supernatural bar called Spades looking for her sister Kia’s missing friend Misty. There she meets the owner of Spades, a tall, tatted, delicious werewolf named Declan. Please let me take a moment to just say DECLANNNNN!!
