Sinopsis

Jo Best is a cop on the beat, a young officer sorting drunks and domestics. Her grandfather once ran Homicide and Jo wants to join the murder squad. An amazing adventure gets her there. Then she hits the wall. She’s good, damn good and that riles jealous colleagues. And when she meets super smart IT nerd, Michael Chan, they discover they have the same problem - their families have been ripped off by violent criminals.
So in-between solving homicides, and dodging attacks by bitter colleagues, Jo and Michael - fans of Holmes and Watson - set about bending, or is that breaking the law, to see justice done. From murders in Melbourne, Australia, Jo and Michael fly off to Paris and London to crack cases, and even back home are fighting drug dealers from Miami, Florida. Oh and then there’s that unresolved sexual tension. Life is just one heck of a big bowl of cherries for Detective Jo Best...M.F
