THOUGHTS: Ahhhh, I really enjoyed this new Cassie Mint novella!! It's full of forbidden love and chemistry between the hero and heroine. I especially loved it when she finally called him "daddy". ;) Five stars!!

2.5 stars. One of my least favorite Cassie Mint books. I sped through the last 25% to find out what happened and to skip the sex scene that I knew would ick me out.

I get it. They end up married and she's pregnant ( ALL Mint books) but how in the world did that happen!? She's the daughter of a person who is constantly in danger so needs top notch security. She can't move out because she would need top notch security. Her dad is a prick who doesn't make it possible for her to have a separate life. But we go from banging during a pool party to three years later with NO EXPLANATION OF HOW THAT HAPPENED!?

I really shouldn't be surprised.

Also, this is a book where the heroine gives the hero a BJ. For most of the book he's all "she's too young a good for me" and he TAKES during their first sexual experience together!? Nope!
