Now to review this one, it's perfect for the holiday season! Joy is having a really hard time. She doesn't want to do it at all but she's a bit intrigued by Nick, the "client" who bought her for the weekend.

Nick is a rich man who is also conned, but the person who conned him was his best friend. Everyone at their work calls him the Grump or Scrooge because he always wants to work and never has time for fun. Nick's best friend convinces him to spend a weekend with a woman to give him a weekend of pleasure and fun and *fingers crossed* he'll go back to being the boss in a much better mood.

So alas, Joy and Nick meet and it's instalove galore for them! As soon as they lock eyes, they want each other. But what happens when they start falling for each other? Can they ever make it work?

El romance con amor a primera vista/atracción instantánea con un héroe Scrooge gruñón y posesivo+una heroína angelical que le hace un cambio de corazón en navidad. Me encantó cómo de fuerte cae Nick que no puede dejarla ir.

Nick y Joy eran candentes!

No me gustó... la parte de llámame "Papi"! Por qué hacen esto las autoras cuando hay un tema con la diferencia de edad? No es siquiera sexy, al menos a mí no me lo parece. Cada vez que leo esto me encojo. Las partes sexys eran buenas y no necesitaba el Papi.

Honestamente me enojó Joy al comienzo porque se dejó intimidar, amenazar y manipular por su compañera de cuarto Kim. Estoy bien con las heroínas puro corazón inocentes pero quería que ella le pusiera un alto en algún momento para defenderse y no aceptar más maltratos pero no lo hace. Es más, al final cuando Joy decide que tuvo suficiente casi vuelve a caer en la manipulación de Kim de no ser por la interferencia de Nick.

Y por último, estaba el tonto malentendido con Nick. Él creía que ella había pedido más dinero cuando lo hizo su amiga. Quería golpearlo cuando no le creyó y le ofreció más dinero! Y tuve que aplaudir a Joy por rechazarlo por más que significara perderlo. Menos mal que Nick no siguió siendo cabeza dura y no deja ir a Joy, por un momento creí que lo haría.

Joy had thought her day couldn’t get any worse, she had lost her job and returned home to discover her roommate Kim was about to evict her. That’s when she knew that Kim was up to something but owing her two months rent she finds herself sold to a man for Christmas, in one click of the button she had become an escort. This is never how she planned to lose her virginity, but everything changes when she meets her owner Nick. She’d never believed in love at first sight but now she knows it exists, is she crazy to think that this is the man she was always meant to meet or will Kim’s plan destroy something special and leave her with nothing?

Nick knows that his entire staff despise him but he isn’t the boss to be d, running his company with his best friend is all he has in his life, so when Eric send him to look at a property about to come on the market his Christmas plans change. Arriving at the old building he soon discovers that this was all a ploy and he is about to receive a gift. As soon as Joy walks in he finds himself with an angel in his arms perfectly gift wrapped just for him. He can’t help but enjoy her, he never knew he was capable of love and her innocence has him hooked. He’s thinking of forever when that was never on the cards for him, but when a conversation with Eric shows that he could be being taken for a ride, will he listen to his heart or push away the one person who loves him and gave him true joy?

While this book was short, it is pack with steam, a little bit of drama, an obsessed alpha and his angel that he never saw coming but will do anything to keep, and a great HEA.

SMOKIN HAWWWTTT!!! Loved this one! It was very Alexa Riley-esque, complete with rigid and alphahole hero who melts for the sweet, innocent heroine! I love how the heroine turns the hero’s psyche upside down—and when he thinks the worst of her, she walks away! Not for long tho—he’s coming after her!

This had lots of steam and heat, but plenty of feelz and sweet! The hero was a rigid, humorless workaholic but falls ass over heels for the heroine!

Overall, a great quickie, with a writing style that’s easy and smooth!

A short story with magnificent characters as well as easy to read and a page turner, with a sweet steamy romance with a happily ever after ending.
A young woman who loses her job and is close to being kicked out by her roommate at Christmas when the roommate puts the young woman on an escort site which lands her a weekend with a businessman who didn’t make the arrangement but his business partner made it for him. The Roommate forces the young woman into doing the job and takes most of the upfront money, she also sells the young woman clothes that the roommate says men that she doesn’t wear.
It's around Christmas time and it's snowing. A young woman who was working at a daycare has been let go because of budget cuts, she also is about ready to be evicted by her roommate until her roommate comes up with a plan. The roommate makes her a profile on an escort site. The woman is forced by her roommate to take a job, the roommate also has the funds set to her account and not the womans. The roommate tells her what to do as well as informs her to have sex, the woman wants to object but she’s afraid of confrontations and the roommate threatens her.
The businessman has no clue what’s going on, only that his business partner wants him to spend the weekend at a mansion near the outskirts of the city, that the business partner has an overnight bag of clothes as well as the kitchen stocked with groceries. The businessman doesn’t know that his partner bought him an escort for the weekend.
The businessman helps the woman who can hardly breathe in the tight dress she has on by taking her upstairs where he strips the tight clothes off of her and puts her under warm blankets, it’s snowing heavily and she was cold to the touch.
When the woman awakes her and the businessman talk and before long they kiss and he gives her oral sex. The business man wants her to be his. The businessman can’t believe that she’s a virgin as well as an escort but when they have sex he finds out. The two have sex alot as well as he gives her oral sex also. They talk alot about, telling each other about a number of subjects. During the whole time the snow keeps falling heavier, at one point the electricity goes out and the woman gets scared in the dark.
They have been having sex all morning when they go down stairs. They go into the living room and she sits on the couch and he starts to make a fire in the fireplace, afterwards he sits next to her and they fall asleep. The two don't know that they have fallen in love with each other since no one has said anything yet. When he wakes up he calls his partner from the landline, the two talk for a minute and the business man gets angry, he gets dressed and when she wakes up she can tell that his mood has changed. They talk but he doesn’t believe her, they have sex and they talk more. The woman tells him to take her home.
They don’t talk on the way to her place and when he tries to stop her when they pull up to her place she leaves but he follows her all the way to her apartment. The woman doesn’t realize that the businessman followed her and neither does her roommate. The woman goes to her room and the roommate follows they have a loud discussion and the businessman finds out that the woman wasn’t lying. The woman is packing her bags when the businessman comes in demanding that the roommate leaves. The two talk and he takes off her dress giving her oral sex before they have sex. They tell one another that they love each other.
Five years later the couple is married, at their wedding the roommate tried to start trouble but was taken out. They have two children, they live in the mansion that they first met at. The woman has been doing business about the daycare she is starting. The woman gets home and the children are asleep so the couple give each other oral sex as well as have sex. They talk about the businessman being Santa for Christmas. They kiss deeply.

Joy Brookes just got laid off from her daycare job, owes rent to her roommate and is being threatened with eviction. She does not deal well with conflict and has a submissive personality.

Nick Walsh is a grumpy workaholic billionaire. He hates the Christmas season.

Joy's roommate Kim works as an escort. She tells Kim she is creating an online account for her on the escort service site. She accepts an offer of for a weekend at a guy's estate for Kim.

Nick's business partner Eric tells him he convinced the owner of a property Nick wants to purchase to let him stay there for the weekend. Eric arranged for Joy to be Nick's Christmas present without his knowledge.

Kim dresses Joy in a provocative dress and drops her off at the estate after giving her instructions on how to behave. Seeing how cold she is Nick carries her to a bedroom and bundles her in the blankets. After she wakes up they hook up. They spend the next day, Christmas, in bed. Joy quickly falls in love with Nick and he is obsessed with her. He calls Eric and Eric tells him how money hungry she is so Nick gets angry and says some cruel things to her. She asks to be brought home. When they get to her apartment he panics and follows her into the apartment only to hear her arguing with Kim. When he realizes she didn't lie to him, he apologizes they reconcile and get their HEA.

The Mistletoe Love Series by Cassi Hart is off to a great beginning. This was a very fun read that kept me entertained throughout the book. Both Joy and Nick were perfect for one another and so sweet together. They are complete opposites when it comes to Christmas though with him literally being the scrooge and well, Joy is merry and bright. I am hoping the second book will be just as good as this one if not better and honestly, that is exactly what I am expecting since Cassi has yet to let me down.

Nick is a workaholic and his best friend and business partner Eric sets out to bring cheer into his life with a special present this year. Joy is on the down and out with one thing after another going wrong in her life. Her room mate Kim decides the solution is to create a profile with the escort service she works for in hopes of generating a quick source of income. When Nick and Joy meet for the first time things don't look promising. But, thank goodness Joy is able to convince Nick to give her a chance. Everything is going well and it looks these two have found their other halves...the one who completes them. That is until Nick talks to Eric and discovers a little nasty truth that points to Joy only being after his money. Will Joy be able to convince Nick she is not guilty of the accusations he throws at her? Or, will their relationship end as quickly as it began?

She is desperate though and agrees to spend the weekend with her client for 60k. She is surprised when she sees how sexy her client is. When she meets Nick, she realizes that she will willing give up her v-card for him.

Nick is a workaholic successful business man. His partner and employees knows that he is the company scrooge. However his partner has found the perfect gift for him. He has hired Joy to spend the weekend with Nick. Nick's first look at Joy has him feeling emotions that he has never felt before. Joy is the perfect gift for him to unwrap.

When Joy can't pay the rent, her roommate signs her up to be an escort for the weekend, and she ends up with Nick. Apparently, Nick's best friend bought him Joy's services for the weekend. Joy is a virgin and can't fight her attraction to Nick, even though he isn't very nice initially. But he softens as they spend time together until he thinks he's being used. Will the two talk this out? The story had an innocent, "Pretty Woman" vibe to it. This couple had amazing chemistry, and after some angst, we got a great HEA. I loved this Christmas story from Cassi!.

Joy is down on her luck. She can not pay due to the mountain of debt she has and has just been laid off from her job at a daycare. Her roommate, Kim, decides her only options are to move out or to sign up for an escort service in which she receives part of the proceeds. Without much in the way of agreement, Kim sets up the profile, and Joy immediately gets a date. In fact, she gets a weekend dare with Nick.
Nick is a scrooge. He diss the holidays and prefers to work through the distraction of them. But when a mansion he has been wanting is about to go on the market, his buddy convinces him to spend the weekend there to test it out. Unbeknownst to him, his buddy has hired Joy to keep him company.
Nick arrives at the mansion, thinking he will be spending the weekend alone only to be surprised by Joy's arrival. He is more surprised by his immediate reaction to her. She is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen, and the snowstorm will keep them there together. Joy, on the other hand, is overwhelmed by her nerves. She is nervous and surprised by her attraction to Nick.

This was a great holiday novella. I love that it can be read in about an hour. The characters were likable, and the storyline was well written. The chemistry was palpable, and there were plenty of steamy scenes. I hope the other books in this series are as good as this one.
