Reseñas Varias sobre este libro
Oh my, what a wrap up to one of the most ambitious series I've read! The extent of cross-cultural gods Thompson weaves into The Ancient Ones trilogy is mind blowing. The way she wraps up the story lines in the beauty of Africa, leaning into the interpersonal and cultural relationships the different gods have not only with each other but with the earth and history itself, was incredibly satisfying for this reader. I devour stories that bend genres and disciplines, and Revelations, its two predecessors, delivers. If, me, you are a fan of literary vampires, mythology, unabashed intelligent writing, and atmospheric pseudo-goth vibes, please pick of Revelations and gift yourself with the conclusion to The Ancient Ones. As an aside, I was Team Lucius from book 1.

An absolutely thrilling conclusion to Cassandra L Thompsons The Ancient Ones trilogy.
The Ancient Ones book one of the trilogy is by far my favorite book in the series and one of the best books I've ever read.
But Revelations is still a top tier book and Cassandra does an absolutely fantastic job of weaving the many intricate threads of David's, Lucias and Morrigan's story into a satisfying and beautiful ending. Proving she's at the top of her game in writing gothic fiction.
And The Ancient Ones trilogy should fit very nicely among the vampire classics such as Dracula and The Vampire Chronicles.1 Nicole116 26
