Okay, here we go........First off, can the Plood please keep abducting earth girls? I know that sounds cruel, but that's the only way to keep these awesome books coming. I don't want them to end. Do you? I mean, everytime I get a new one it's so exciting. I drop whatever I'm doing because it's time to read. Now this one is about Korr'ax and Bryar. Two girls/women, (Bryar and Piper) have been dumped on Xren. They weren't really close on earth. But they get closer here. Not best friends, but whatever. Anyway, they have a difficult time getting food and keeping themselves protected from the various creatures. Then Korr'ax appears one day and saves them. Korr'ax is an eight foot tall caveman type alien with stripes. Even though their speaking different languages, they some how can make out quite a bit of what each other is saying. Korr'ax is quite taken with Bryar. He wants to mate with her. By the end of the book, I felt he definitely chose the best girl for himself. A lot of different things happen. But eventually he takes Bryar and Piper to his village. Everything seems to be going better than expected, until......
I know, I know, I hate when reviewers do that. It's almost a cliffhanger. But I also dis spoilers. Just because you absolutely love a book, doesn't mean you should ruin it for everyone else. Whew, got that off my chest, huh? Now, the biggie (I feel there should be a drumroll or something). If you want to really, truly get addicted, start with book one. Yes, there are a lot of books in this series and I've read every single one. Each is different. But each book is definitely deserving of more than a five star rating. So grab a carafe of wine, a glass or a straw makes no difference to me. Hey! You're in your house. I mean who's going to see. Get in your favorite reading chair and dig in.
