I how this author was able to show how our parents actions can affect our lives as adults. She also showed ,that we should not allow bad things from our past to determine or shape our future. 

I understood Nikki, as an introvert, I could relate to the loner behaviour and living inside your head speculating about things. But, I was glad that she had people to push her out of her comfort zone and tell her to live her dreams. Even though her friend Gayle did something that was wrong she still was a blessing to Nikki. Sometimes friends have good intentions, but do more harm than good.

I thought Logan was the biggest blessing Nikki could have received. He was not willing to give up on her and he was not going to let her give up on them. It was beautiful to see them interact with each other. I was so smitten with them till I started holding my breath when I would read a scene with them together. I was rooting for them and talking to the book as if these two characters could hear me. 

This is a great story, it makes me want to know more about Axl and Gayle and what the future holds from them.2 s Book Freak80

This was just an okay read for me. I did not feel connected to the characters or felt they had enough chemistry to get them to a HEA. I was surprised that counseling was not suggested for Nikki to deal with her issues. The book felt disjointed and needed some character development.

Where to begin?
The typos were exceedingly distracting. I also didn't the info dumps via conversation. The writing felt stilted and the characters cardboard cutouts; didn't pull me in, felt mechanical.

Wow!

Logan and Nikki shared a love so deep and tender. It was a twisted journey with others throwing roadblocks in their paths including themselves but with love and communication they were able to overcome it all! Questions...

This book left me with a lot of questions about what kind of experiences did the writer draw from in order to write it.the female lead in this book was basically dumped on by every woman in her life, with the exception of her sister....she seemed to lake self worth even though she proclaimed to.i felt sorry for her more than anything. I couldn't even be really happy at the end because i wondered when her bubble would burst as if she was in a Lala land of sorts in love with a lead that kinda seems false. Splendid Read!!

I gave this book five stars because it was excellent. Nikki and Logan were so cute together. It was amazing how they met. I loved the dynamics between the two.
