Scott takes a job at the Pink Bear restaurant where the workers wear a cute outfit with a cute bear on it and other things. Scott has the general appearance of a girl so he can actually work there.

Scott is in a college dorm and tends to be mistaken from time to time as a girl so it's obvious his appearance is more female than male.

He has a friend named Amy who helps him shop for clothes and other things and works at the same restaurant.

One thing right off that is very interesting is the different way he is greeted by guys and girls. The girls seem to have a girlhood supportive approach where the guys have a rougher approach.

Things get complex when a guy as Scotti (the female name he choose) out on a date. Scotti/Scotti is definitely a female on the inside so it's something new. Then she ends up on the cheerleader team.

Things go well until there's a major problem with his father over his appearance.

So several questions are dealt with. Will Scotti have a good date or will things go badly for her. Will the boys in the dorm discover her secret? Will the cheerleaders accept her as an equal? Will his father ever accept that although Scotti was born physically male she's really a girl?

I really enjoyed this book. It dealt with a lot of real problems trans people have to face. John C. Rama79

Really enjoyed reading this story

All the characters were awesome. I really got a kick out of Amy. We should all have an Amy and Joanie in our lives. Of course things took a 180 with mom in Scotti’s corner. Jeff1,578 3
