So Cruel

The storyline is pretty good. However, there are several errors throughout the book. Some of the characters are called by a different name in one sentence, only to be called by a different name in the next sentence. There is a scene where the killer is named, and a few pages later,someone else is named as the killer. There were also some spelling and grammatical errors. Jacqi Coffee34

The story is a solid 3.5-4.5 star book. This is true for the entire series.

But it gets an automatic one start for using an AI audio narrator instead of getting an actual narrator to save money or whatever. There are tons and tons of narrators out there who are just starting, good and don’t need a paycheck for their work. Many work off audiobook sales or even credits (I know from experience with said narrators.)

Faith and Michael are faced with a bizarre crime. Someone is killing people who work/deal with high priced dogs. There's a whole world of injustice and cruelty against dogs and humans and this assassin is going to be a difficult one to find and catch. A good plot, fast-paced, So Cruel is great entertainment for a few hours. I thank Ms. Pierce for this ARC. vicky letts11
