Monique’s plan to get Will’s ex to notice him again was to drum up a fake secret admirer. In return, perhaps Will can help Monique get her boss’ attention. And, thus, the Secret Admirer Pact was hatched. But even though Monique felt that Will’s ex wasn’t good enough for him and that he should get over her, she still helps him. And the weird thing was that those random notes were actually working.

This was a quick and easy read. We basically had an on-going exchange of secret admirer notes. It’s funny because the two best friends since 7th grade never even considered each other as anything more than that, and, for a good chunk of the story, the two try to deny the growing attraction in this whole experiment, which is totally understandable considering that neither one of them want to risk losing the friendship. But perhaps the benefits could outweigh the risk?

Although this wasn’t as funny as I expected or wanted it to be, this had a clever wit that I enjoyed. I especially d the close bond that these characters had already rooted in their lifelong friendship. They were there for each other and they would practically do anything for each other. I d that.

I enjoyed the strong bond and chemistry between the main characters. They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but will they take the risk of becoming more? You’ll have to read the book to find out.

I loved this story about Monique and Will, they are the best of friends and come up with a plan involving secret admirers. How can this go wrong? LOL.
This was a great quick read for me. I enjoyed the secret admirer notes between the two during the book. But of course during the course of the book, Monique and Will realize they both have feelings for eachother. They don't know if they want to destroy their friendship and take a chance on love.
This whole book resonates with me, as my husband and I were friends before we were together and he is still my best friend over 20 years later:)
There is not much to the steamy romance part, which is nice for a change. This is a very clean romance compared to some others we have reviewed here on the site. I highly recommend this read to romance readers and friends to lover's troupe! MaggieAuthor 22 books261

The blurb got my attention. Two besties want other people and help each other to win over the people they desire. The author is new to me and I enjoyed her writing, along with the plot. It’s a very short read, perfect for Valentine’s Day since the HEA is sweeter than a box of chocolates.

I d this book, but I didn't love it. Why?? I dunno, but book feelings are strong about this and ya'll know I need to share the book feelings!

It's a fun read, about friends who never really saw each other as anything other than best friends, until the thought of losing each other looms. And it's all laid out for you!

While there is romance here, there is no smexy times. I think that might be my biggest issue. I my books smexy and I wanted Monique and Will to get their freak on, and they don't. At least, not on page. There's just some kissing.

It's painfully obvious who the secret admirers are, other than Will and Monique, but I didn't see the twist to Monique's boss' situation! So that was a great twist.

It's billed as a comedy romance. Now, I dunno if it was me, but I didn't get much comedy, at all!

It was a nice read (you know I don't to use that word, but I can't find another one to fit!) one you can just fall into and wile away a couple hours, or less. Took me 90 mins.

I'd to read something esle by this author, I haven't read her work before, but a longer work.
