Going great until...

Book and story was going great and the flow was very nice until about the 90% mark. I don't really know how to describe it other than it seemed to lose focus. I don't know if this was due to a deadline, but Bern's typical focus started to get wonkie. Don't really wanna get into specifics due to spoiling the end. It almost seems someone else wrote it (I'm sure this isn't the case) cause the flow, style and context changed. Almost Allen was losing himself, maybe he was there was allot going on. I will check Goodreads for a discussion about it cause I really would somebody else's opinion. I said 90% great book then the vibe of the book got awkward for me.
