I was really hoping to love this one, but I didn’t. This is a short story about Faye, who normally spends Christmas alone, going to her bosses cabin for Christmas since her boss, Margo, wouldn’t be using it. Margo’s family, the Flynn family, own the farm. Conor runs into Faye as she is trying to make it up to the cabin. He invites her for Christmas to his family’s house, and reluctantly she agrees. After spending the time with Conor Flynn and his family, she realizes what’s been missing in her life. But is she just a fling to him?

I rolled my eyes HARD at this book. At a mere 81 pages, the author tried to write an entire novel. But for me, that meant that I didn’t connect with the characters and I didn’t feel any connection between the characters themselves. This has so much potential if the author took their time and wrote a longer story. I’m not saying it has to be hundreds of pages long, but there needs to be more development.

I will say this, the author did paint a very pretty picture of the town. I could envision it in my mind as I was reading it. I also could envision the Flynn family being so welcoming of Faye. So that part I did .2 s Teresa 1,524 2

Faye for Christmas

For me this is after book four but I think it does not matter because you don't meet anyone from the town it's focussed on the Finn family. So it could be the first book before book one.

It's a small Christmas read linked to inishberg cove. But you don't need to have read the series. It's about a women with no family her boss sends her to her birth town in her cottage to stay for Christmas because she s to be alone (but the boss has a big pushy friendly family and a single nephew, but she leaves it to fate) Nikki1,292 11

A short story, part of the Inishbeg Cove series. It's set at Christmas and is a lovely story about the magic of the festive season.

It's easily read in less than an hour, but left me with a big smile on my face.

You don't need to have read any of the other books in the series, to enjoy this book; but if you haven't, I highly recommend you read them, especially if you Irish romance books. Annette Smith79

Finding Christmas

This was a perfect Christmas story romance. I loved the story and the characters are brilliant. I can't wait to read more of these books. I highly recommend this book Saundra Callender81
