Great Saga

Having read Demons Also Dream, it was only logical that my interest in this saga would persist and indeed it did. Demons Never Lose is a book full of mystery and scenarios that will keep you tied to the story until the end. It is a book that when you look at it from the outside, you would think that it is set in times past, but no, the characters are set in a fairly current era. It is a gripping story, with magic, evil, and money as the motive for things that makes the book a complex but fluid text.
Not to fill this review with spoilers, I should just say that the character of Allura, the crypto-asset con artist, is another level, as she is insightful, scheming but very intelligent, which gives her that appealing touch. I loved the persecution that falls on her, but either way she shows all the time how brilliant and capable she is.

Joss is ready to keep on working in her second book but the whole plot takes an unexpected twist because it includes romance to the previous horror. But suspense and danger abound along these pages.
Ava’s novels give readers goosebumps since they touch real emotions and hidden fears that people tend to have. It seems as if the dangers of the story and the demons come alive and haunt you while you’re reading. It’s an engaging novel with well-portrayed and dynamic characters that do whatever it takes to survive. I definitely recommend it.

Overall, it was a very entertaining read. The author mixes genres no other, balancing between action, suspense, romance, horror, and spirituality. I do recommend reading the first book of the series to have a deeper understanding of the novels, it doesn´t act as a standalone.

This is the thrilling second book of the series, where the readers are re-introduced to my favorite characters, Jocelyn and Fury. First off, Fury is such a fantastic and feisty name. The author has really developed their characters even after just 2 books, and I cannot imagine how far they will go in the succeeding books. The plot characters are engaging, just as what you would expect for a paranormal romance fantasy novel. The author can use a little tightening with some of those scenes, but that is for future books. Also, Fury is so badass; she reminds me of Maive, which I strongly feel about which the character is based on. It is quite an exciting read; you will enjoy it.

It has a very unique plot that follows a psychic that writes horror novels inspired by real demons she gets in contact with. An unexpected health diagnosis will turn her word upside down. There’s another character in the book that I really enjoyed and she is a bounty hunter that has words for the one and only, Lucifer.
