Very Dark, Though Light Wins for now

This is a very dark book, far darker than I expected. Although very well written, I cannot recommend it because of the darkness. If you have any trauma triggers, this would be an especially bad read.

However, the forces of light did win, for now. So 3 stars. Interestingly, both main evil doers began as good people who were profoundly abused. Not an excuse, but abuse is a known factor among those who go on to become violent.

I wanted to love this one, I really did, and I feel so bad writing this. But werewolves just really aren’t my thing. So this review is going to focus on the writing itself rather than the storyline. The writing style wasn’t bad, but does have some room for improvement. There were actually even some good quotable parts. But it’s just too dark for my liking. If dark werewolf books are your kind of book, then I would absolutely recommend it, it’s just not for me. Kirk488 3

Definitely different take on the werewolf genre.
