Reseñas Varias sobre este libro
I loved writing this book. I loved slipping back into Ringo's thoughts, figuring out what he felt, how he saw the world, and delving deeper into who he was. Out of Time contains all the new 10th Anniversary epilogues in one book, then adds the story of Ringo and Charlie's beginnings in London that begin right after Saira leaves and Archer slinks back into the night.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it.8 s Nikki236 6
I was given the pleasure of this book early and I can say with all confidence its the Ringo story weve all been hoping for. A brilliant collection of epilogues that create their own unique story when read as one complete book. If youve already read the IMMORTAL DESCENDANTS series (*absolutely* read the series because its magnificent), this is the perfect chance to see what happens during the time between Cheating Death and the start of the Baker Street Mysteries (An Urchin of Means, my favorite April White book to date). The love story between Ringo and Charlie is timeless, with every page turn I just didnt want it to end. This truly is a gift to all us readers to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this remarkable series.2 s Megan305
This book was a compilation of all the new epilogues from the 10th anniversary editions plus a new short story about Ringo and Charlie. The new story is the perfect bridge between this series and the next. audiobooks favorites2 s Lenore Kosinski2,386 63

5 stars Since Id read the box set of the first 3 books and they werent updated with the new epilogues, this was the first time I was able to read them. I kind of loved getting a Ringo-related summary and then getting to see the epilogues in a row that, it really showed the progression of Ringo and Charlies relationship. I loved seeing them form that tentative connection and understand that they had both been fundamentally changed right from the first book. I loved how Ringo learned those lessons of made family, and connection, and applied them in his own life. I loved that their relationship wasnt perfect and infallible, but had to grow just as Archer and Sairas did. I loved that while I adored Ringo, he wasnt perfect either and he was soooo young when it all started.
And I absolutely adored refreshing my memory of their wedding, and seeing the set up for their life together back in their original time stream. And even having already read Mrs. Macs story in Pride Not Prejudice, I absolutely adored seeing this first meeting with her. She was just PERFECT for them.
And now I am absolutely THRILLED to start their own spin off series. I mean seriously, who doesnt need more Ringo and Charlie in their lives?buddy-read kindle1 Marja Coons-Torn137 12
I was delighted to see a new offering come along in April Whites Immortal Descendants historical time-travel fantasy series. The five books came out starting a number of years ago, before the current craze for time-travel novels of every shape. Perhaps White had something to do with that craze (which continues unabated). She quickly explains, however, that Out of Time is not so much a new novel in the series as it is a collection of short-stories, updating the characters. For that reason, it probably wouldnt make sense to read unless you have read the original series.
Now would be a good time to begin the Immortal Descendants, or to reread them if you read them when they were published. Thats because the author has taken the time to re-edit each of the five books, making corrections but also adding new material. I myself am planning to do that. I enjoyed the storyline immensely when I first read them. I dont usually reread books, but I am interested to see what White has done with her own material. I hope my aging brain will be able to discern the changes. By the way, if you own the books on Kindle, you dont have to buy them again to get the changes. Just go to Manage Your Content and Devices on Amazon. When you bring up the titles, it will tell you there is an update, and so you just click on that. It only takes a few seconds.
If you have read the series, then you will also want to read An Urchin of Means and Deaths Door. If you have read those, by all means pick up Out of Time. If you subscribe to Kindle Unlimited, you can find it there. Or its only $2.99 to buy the Kindle version or $6.99 for the paperback. Jes565
Perfectly Wonderful
This book is the literary equivalent of visiting friends while in front of a cozy fire, with a mug full of hot cocoa (or your preferred fireside drink), and a conversation full of catching up on what youve missed, remembering the fun youve had, laughing with relish, and shedding a tear because even the best times must come to an end. The best part is that Ringo and Charlies stories will continue so this little interlude is the perfect way to revisit them in the meantime. Alison59
Hope at last
Ringo is, and has been, my favorite character in The Immortal Descendants series. This is a glimpse of seeing the stories through his eyes, as well as Charlie's, and it is so lovely. I've read his and Charlie's first book, An Urchin of Means, and have been waiting, quite impatiently, for the next one. The Audible version read by William M. Watt is as wonderful as Ms. White says it is. Hazel Worden36
Not a real story as much as a recap of the series
I would recommend you re-read the full series, before spending your money on this. disd the fact, it felt I was reading extracts from the previous series of books. I love Ringo and Charlie, and am a fan of April Whites writing. I was expecting to read a full story about the two of them, not extracts the publisher has thrown together. sorry I paid for this. Satisfying
Having read the Immortal Descendants books before the addition of these lovely epilogues and very much enjoying them, it's lovely to have this additional bit that gives more context from different points of view and wonderfully fills out the story. It also makes me hungry for more Urchin of Means books, so I'm quite excited to know that the second one will be releasing soon. Angela Whitmore427
Tying up the loose ends
Having read the Immortal Descendents series several years ago, I found this little book of Ringo and Charlie-centred epilogues followed by their steps into married life in the 1800s is exactly what was needed to bridge the gap over to An Urchin of Means. And it clears up a previous gripe so I may have to now go back and update an old review. Thank you April for your ever excellent writing. Cicilia9 1 follower
Pure joy
The immortal descendants series has always felt coming home to me. This is no exception. It is pure serotonin and love and all the good things. Thank you for publishing these cozy little bites, and for Mrs. Mac. She is important. Samantha Glass947 7
Loved this! A perfect rainy day accompaniment. Such a treat to spend time with this lovely crew and to gain new perspectives on what else was happening in the books. April Whites characters create a family all their own and this book felt a lovely visit with them. Janeen AbdoAuthor 14 books19

I love Ringo so much
What a fun addition to the Immortal Descendants series. I have always wanted Ringo's point of view of all that was going on in each of the books and this introspection gave us more of the relationship with Charlie. It made my heart happy. Karl Hakimian473 3
