This book had that easy flow I missed in the last one. The language was... Calmer, somehow, and the story fast moving. Another novella continuing the Gryphonpike Chronicles, series in which the mute elf Killer and her companions travel to a distant island to find the source of a series of recent dragon attacks. A fast-paced read with some great action scenes. I really the developing friendships between the companions and the way the author works in Killer's growing fondness for them despite her inability to communicate. A solid and entertaining read.
