Annabelle Anders is one of the authors on my "favorite authors" list. I find her to be a really good author with really good writing. She has great stories and good sex. I’ve read 47 of her books and have been reading her since 2018.

This has been a great series. I’ve enjoyed all the books. I think this one is my favorite so far but there are still 2 more in the series yet. I loved Benjamin and Clementine. I loved how natural they were with each. Obviously, in her case, not expecting anything so she was able to be herself which is always the best outcome. I loved their chemistry. A proper gentleman in every sense, he navigates high society and intrigue with ease. He’s also decided it’s time he married & has set his eye on Lady Amelia Crowley, daughter of Marquis of Foxbourne. Clementine Buckingham is the Foxbourne’s orphaned niece who was turned out of her home when her father died, she made her way to the Foxbourne’s & is now an unpaid companion to Amelia.
This is the fourth book in the series & whilst it could be read on its own there is an ongoing plot throughout the series. I loved both Ben & Clem from their less than auspicious first encounter. I loved their journey to a HEA, it wasn’t easy but it made for an engrossing read. Both were horse mad & they soon found that they were compatible in far more ways than this. The secondary characters were also well portrayed some I really d & others I disd. I particularly d Amelia & look forward to her story, I just hope her horrid parents get their comeuppance! It was a fun, entertaining romance & the banana scene was hilarious! The epilogue had me shedding a tear. As usual the author delivers in spades
