So the lovely @annamooreauthor sent me a ARC of this, it looked/sounded amazing and it did not disappoint.
It starts off by Vins brother being killed by a monkey (ape!) and the Vin killing the ape and not being able to pay the director of the circus to compensate.
However he makes a deal to work for the circus to pay off his debt and bring his brother back to life, though he can’t read and doesn’t initially know what he’s signing!
He faces challenges, he finds love. Will he get his brother back? Will he escape the circus?
This book really keeps you on your toes and makes you keep reading as you want to find out what happens with him. Loved it, would recommend it to anyone
