After moving to a wealthy New England suburb, Harper Fontaine quickly discovers the only way to fit in is not to be the new kid. That's fine with her, she simply wants to be left alone to collect interesting old items. That is, until she's invited to join The Order of the Six, Newport's equally notorious and mysterious secret society.

With the backup of new friends, including the alluring bad girl next door, Harper begins to get a glimpse of the dark history of the seaside town. This tight-knit community harbors secrets better left uncovered and the more she learns, the more unsettled Harper becomes. As the pretty facade falls away, The Order's origins and motives become more and more sinister.
