Everything changes

I picked this book because of the cover, but I stayed for the story. I love how the counsel of a faithful advisor and the love of a strong woman was able to change things for the better. I really enjoyed the characters and the way they connected and grew throughout the story. The author really brought out the best in both of them, so by the end I was anxiously awaiting the outcome. I don’t know if this is intended to be a series, but I would love to see more of this world, it’s people, and the fate of the humans, not to mention the king and queen and how they fare. I just couldn't

I just could not finish this book. The author needs to talk to any marine and she would know that their training is very extensive. The h would have fought more and would not have been thrashing around when being blasted with ice cold water or allowed the H to touch her as easily as he did. I truly believe in suspension of disbelief but this was just not possible with this book.1 Shelley G444 5

I very much enjoyed this book. Lara is a woman struggling to make it in a man's world in out space. She has been kicked out of the military force and has a tough attitude. Korah is the J'ha or king of Qynora but has been overthrown, lost his throne and had to run with any who were loyal to him and make a new life on a new planet.
All Korah can think about is regarding his throne and his honor and to do that he must take human woman captured in battle as breeders to make a new army to regain his lost throne.
Lara is captured and instead of being put in the breeder program Korah decides to keep her.
Slowly Lara shows Korah that the peace and life he has built for his people on the new planet far exceeds what he might gain trying to regain his throne and will cost him the lives of his supporters who have found a new way of life and are happy and don't want to go back to war.
As they fall in love, both find new attitudes, new ways of thinking and realize life is not just about honor or toughness, but changes, adaptions, peace, beauty and love.
This book keeps u wanting to read until the end to see what happens between Lara and korah and if Korah will try to retake his throne or realize he already has happiness and a throne on the new planet.
The characters are well developed, the story line is interesting and well paced and you will experience many emotions while reading especially when Lara discovers the human woman in stasis in various states of pregnancy.
The sex scenes are hot and spicy.

This is my first time reading from author Aline Ash. I really enjoyed this book, Great story-line and characters. Love the chemistry between Korah and Lara. Lara is a strong woman, she doesn't put up with a bunch of crap, she would rather fight that surrender. Lara works on the Arbitrrium, a salvage vessel and her crew the Pullers are the first in to clear a ship, she is always struggling to prove herself as some on her team doesn't think women can do a job as well as a man. The Arbitrrium is captured by a Qynoran Warcraft, The Qynoran's are looking for breeders, but when Korah the J'ha (king) of the Qynoran's an alpha male sees Lara he wants her for himself. Will Lara surrender to Korah? I highly recommend this book!

What a book! I was hooked! Absolutely loved it. There were some funnies, lots of action, frustration and finally love. My favorite part was when Lara escaped with the other 3 girls and they got stuck in the hanger.i was laughing my head off when Korah first met Lara. What a meeting! She really turned his world upside down and helped him change into a better person. With lots of frustration on both sides....

This is a fantastic start to a new series and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. Laura and her crew of women are living on a salvage ship a Qynoran warship takes all of the women for slavery or the breeding program but not Laura no the King Korah wants Laura for himself as his mate and not part of the breeding program or a slave. There’s action, adventure, suspense, danger, drama, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages, this is a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read. Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength happiness and funny. The story of erotic of sensation. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

This is a first read for me from this author. I that she caught my attention from the beginning. We have drama, adventure, suspense, steam. Great job! I recommend this one.

Páni. Wow. This book blew me away. Amazing world, amazing characters, great plot, the functioning chemistry of both major heroes. A story that read itself and couldn't be pulled away from it. Great love in a new, unknown world.
