A Good Story

I enjoyed this well-written story. Duke Henry's sister had been recently widowed and was having problems settling into motherhood. She engaged a nursemaid, Rebecca, so that she could help her. Rebecca was skilled in herbal medicines and settled into the household quickly. Her herbs helped the family in many ways. The baby settled, his mother learned how to care for him and Duke Henry began to bond with his nephew. Rebecca and Henry developed feelings for each other but tried hard to keep it platonic because Rebecca was a commoner. Lady Ruth was jealous. She was determined to marry Henry and spread rumours that Rebecca was a witch. Will she be able to hurt Rebecca? Will Rebecca be able to overcome the rumours? Will Henry be able to bridge the social divide and find happiness? Read on and enjoy. Mike Carroll27
