Reseñas Varias sobre este libro
This book was an incredibly emotional read and it had multiple moments that hit you pretty hard. Alex is a famous and adored pro hockey player who remains completely closed off from the media, refusing to talk to them, do interviews, or interact with them at all. He winds up getting stuck in an elevator with Riley (a journalist) for a short while and she can't help but try and ask him some questions which he begrudgingly gives basic answers to. They part ways, not thinking very highly of each other and are both informed by their bosses that they will be working with each other. Riley's boss tells her that she will be shadowing Alex for a while to write a lifestyle piece and Alex's coach says that he has to finally do his part for the team's publicity and work with Riley. They wind up meeting to do an interview which Alex doesn't take seriously. Needing to relax, they are both separately pulled out to a club called Vibes by their besties Sara and Benjamin. They had no idea the other was there and Alex winds up chasing off a guy who was not taking no for an answer from Riley. Neither are having fun at the club so Alex brings her back to his place where they drop their emotional walls and actually talk and get to know each other and they have great chemistry. They wind up having sex and the scene is deliciously done
