Yeah, this is rather accurate to how I feel. And just Tabbi's motivation to not accepting the girl she is was a very real echo where i just kinda shouted "YOU CAN DO IT!"

This is a really cute, and very affirming story. On the surface, it's a silly light novel, but you don't have to go too deep to see a very real journey of self-discovery and acceptance. Trans? Transformation? fun reads? Read this book

Ethical disclosure here, I know the author, she’s a friend of mine. That being said, I don’t think this prevents me from objectively reviewing this book. It’s amazing, to be honest. I went into it expecting well, the usual TF fair and, what I found was a heartwarming, incredibly deep and yet light at the same time story about loving oneself, being happy, and being trans.

Zandra knows how to string words together into a read that’s not just compelling, but speaks to the part of all of us that longs to be happy, cannot wait to see what she does in the future.1 Lilith3

Honestly, the only one of Zandra's books so far that hasn't utterly captivated me through the course of reading it, but that wasn't a bad thing. I didn't quite vibe with the premise as much - gods granting wishes is cool and all, but it's just me preferring the more urban-fantasy premise of the others.

That said, absolutely here for the explicit polyamory representation at the end of the story - cute, cuddly, and communicative! I'm here for it. Noneuclidery4

I got this as part of a bundle on Itch.io. It's cute while still dealing with real psycho-social issues with seriousness. But it missed the mark for me in a few ways, nothing dire. I'm sure it will be, ahem, catnip for the sapphic set. MollyAuthor 2 books7
