Desperate, Dynamic, Dreadful, and Delightful.

This Peridale Cafe Cozy Mystery might be the most intense of Agatha Frost's series. It almost entirely concerns Katie Wellington-South's desperate search for her true parents. It's an old story including old murders, thefts, family tragedy, and incredible revelations, all while Peridale is in the throws of creating their Market Square, and Barker is trying to ready his new book. It's an amazing story, rich with family history and personal tragedy and triumph. It definitely can be read as a standalone, but is much richer if it's read in the series. I'm always pleased to return to Peridale and its delightful and often eccentric community. Thank you, Agatha, for another delightful visit. Edith95

Important Addition to the Peridale Cate Cozy Mystery series

“Lemon Drizzle and Loathing”, book 32 of the Peridale Cafe Cozy Mystery Series, is a very important one. It’s very intense and dramatic. The story reveals events that took place decades before the start of the series. It reveals the unpredictable backstory of Julia’s stepmother.
I found it difficult to put down. I highly recommend everyone who enjoys this series read it! I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. Jayne289

Love this family

I never tire of the adventures in Peridale. The characters are interesting, deep and fun. I would living there.

It would be nice if the editor would do a better job with editing. The repetition of words and the wrong words being used are distracting.

Katie’s Legacy

Katie Wellington South finally gets answers in this enchanting addition to the Peridale storyline. It was wonderful to see her come full-circle and finally accept her own personal power. Kudos to Agatha Frost for another engaging book. Can’t wait for the next installment! Carola Mac170 2

So good!

This was probably the best one. Real mystery and suspense. The ending though quite surprising was at times a bit confusing and I had to read it again. I love that Katie keeps evolving,growing up. I hope the search for Barker’s Dad is a bit more calm, but I want to know. Linda Snyder3

Digging Up The Past

I've enjoyed all the books in the Peridale Cafe series but this may be my favorite so far. The plot twists kept me guessing and I loved how the characters evolved through the story. I look forward to seeing what happens in the book. Sue6
