Hmmm

So this is my second book by Kaylyn that I have read. I her writing style. She definitely knows how to draw you in and keep you entertained. However, she leaves a lot to be desired with her female characters. Just in the last book that I read, these two main characters, Brooke and Kelis leaves a lot to be desired. They are both angry, immature and have a whole lot of attitude. Their attitudes are unfounded and directed at the wrong people. I wish Kelis would get some grief counseling and Brooke just needs counseling periodt! I love Orren and Cade. They are very strong alpha males. It’s a shame that they seem to be able to communicate their feelings better than the women. With all of that being said, I can’t wait to see what happens in book 2. I hope to see a lot of growth in the women in book two. I the author Kaylyn, however I hope that this is not a consistent theme of hers as far as her lead female characters. GREAT READ
Held my attention from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters and I couldn't put it down. It flowed really well at a steady pace. Loving the brothers Cade and Orren, they're definitely their brothers keeper. Family isn't always loyal and the Kendall's has a snake slithering around. Evelyn, was right all along, not to trust Kamal. I can't wait to see what happens next with Brooke, Orren, Cade and Kelis. Also, after that ending, how It all unfolds. Great job Kaylyn. ashley805 15

3.75...I'm mixed with this

It's book one so we get a lot of Why but it's not until the last paragraph we get the what.
I am not sure of the couples yet but I am looking forward to Evelyn going off. This book gave at but still left holes. DeNae Sheree1,104 17
